Let me introduce myself:

Hello! I am Caroline Dale – a London Blue Badge Guide. The Blue Badge is the badge of the Institute of Tourist Guides – the only officially accredited guiding organisation in the UK. You can check us out on our the Institute of Tourist Guiding, Guild of Registered Tourist Guides and Association of Professional Tourist Guides web sites. As a Blue Badge Guide for London I can guide inside the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, The National Gallery, Greenwich Observatory etc. I also have special qualification endorsements to guide inside Canterbury Cathedral, inside the Houses of Parliament during the annual summer recess and at Wimbledon's All England Lawn Tennis Club.

I am a native Londoner from Hampstead with a B.A. Honours degree from Leeds University.

My working career has been very wide and varied. I have been a freelance fashion and rock and roll journalist, a foreign correspondent for Reuters News Agency, and a trader for 14 years in international financial markets. I have spent my whole working life in both London and Tokyo.

Is this your first trip to London - then I can show you and explain all the famous sites.
Or are you planning a return trip to learn more about our brilliant city?

Whatever takes your fancy in London today – our markets, galleries, shopping, or simply our history may I invite you to share a reaLondon experience with me?
